NEW ZEALAND'S HOME OF COUNTRY MUSIC
The NZ Sun City Country Music Awards is a singing competition held annually at Labour Weekend in Nelson, New Zealand. In 2026, the 39th awards will run from the 23rd - 25th of October at Club Waimea. Contestants from all over New Zealand compete for the Junior, Intermediate, Veteran and Senior Overall titles and a range of prizes totalling over $9000.
The overall winners of each age group will gain entry to the NZCMA Entertainer of the Year competition in 2027 to represent the NZ Sun City Country Music Awards!
